Why it pays to have a hot sister...

So yeah...trying to remember where I left off.

Jason is Alison (his neice)'s Godfather. That girl has a head of hair like you wouldn't believe. Here's a pic from her baptism:
SUPER cute!
What else? Oh yes, I surprised Jason with some tickets to a pre-season Seahawks game. That was very fun!!

Jones Soda is now the only soda sold at Qwest and Safeco, and they are taking pictures of players and fans to put on the bottles and Jason and I got our picture taken. I think it turned out cute:

We DID get to go to the Josh Gracin/Joe Nichols concert - Josh is so good in concert. <3>

Josh Gracin:

Joe Nichols:

AND THEN (Dude, where's my car? Just joke) I was last-minute surprised with tickets to see KEITH URBAN in concert last weekend!! The head security dude and the drum technician both came into my sister's part time job early on Saturday and offered a bunch of tickets for the show and she thought of me! So fun (Hence the title of this post).

The Wreckers opened for him:

Tonight I wanna cry (my fave):
Yay for hot sisters!

I think I can sum up the rest of things:

  • We also went and saw Phil Vassar in concert at the Emerald Queen Casino on Wednesday, however it was dumb and we had bad seats (first come, first serve and we were not even close to first), so no pics of that.
  • I am taking 11 credits this quarter. I think I've lost my mind. I am for sure taking Astronomy and am on a waiting list for an English Comp class, but if I don't get in I will be taking Business Law. Whoo hoo.
  • It is the last weekend of the Puyallup Fair and we STILL haven't gone. We are going tomorrow. I am STOKED. Photobooths, live infomercials and cotton candy! :)
  • My boyfriend is hot. <3

I am so blessed.

I have a family that cares about me and wants what's absolutely best for me. They have given and given of their time and finances to help me become who I want to be. They are amazing.

I have a boyfriend who is incredible. He cares about me and understands when I just want to spend a little time with him, even if it means driving over an hour round-trip to do so. He loves me for who I am and challenges me to be better than that and to persue my dreams.

I have friends that can spend time with me just hanging out or trying to better ourselves. I have crafty friends, smart friends, fitness friends, "memory" friends (you know, the kind you can just sit and remember stuff with), and friends that inspire me - and quite a few that fall into multiple categories.

And I have me - probably best summed up in "I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I've become who I was intended to be." I am far from perfect but I push myself and do everything possible to be able to look myself in the mirror and respect the person I am.

I've been thinking lately about the people that I struggle with the most, and bottom line is that it comes down to the support you can give yourself and the support others give you. Some of the most unpleasant and unhappy people I have dealt with really seem lonely when it all boils down. I can't help but realize how lucky I am and how blessed I am for the life I've lived (mistakes and all) and the people I've encountered. To those people - thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It's been awhile...

But I'm still here. I have a lot of pictures to post and lots of stuff to share (nothing very exciting, but you know), but my latest obsession has consisted of:

My new Blackberry Pearl. I friggin love it. Just syncing between my computer and phone have been enough to convince me. I've played with it a little, but not very much (which surprises me - usually I get obsessed with new toys) but it's been fun. :) More later.
